Having completed the study course, undergraduates will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and skills:
- knowledge of basic concepts from the area of computer systems, information and communication technologies (ICT) and information systems (IS)
- advanced knowledge of several different programming languages
- application of different types of data and algorithms in own programming solutions
- independent modelling, implementation and administration of relational databases
- designing of complex business information systems
- ability to describe and interpret processes and principles of modelling of complex processes
- knowledge of operating modes, architecture and administration of communication networks
- application of mathematical and statistical techniques in problem solving
- application of basic methods and concepts of planning, management and monitoring of business activities
- recognition of the interaction between economics, user requirements and informatics solutions
- knowledge of ethical principles, legal regulations and norms applicable to and in the profession
- exploration of professional and scientific literature, preparation and independent presentation to professional and general public in Croatian and English languages.
