The aim of the University graduate study of Informatics is to educate a) top experts from different information technology disciplines (course of Informatics) and b) top experts for transfer of information technology knowledge (course of Informatics for Educational Purposes), deepening and widening theoretical and practical knowledge from the University undergraduate study, with a sound understanding of the business world which uses ICT solutions for improvement of efficiency of modern organisations.

After the completion of the study course
A comprehensive theoretical basis which is obtained in this Study course enables students to adopt a critical approach to problem areas and to recognise the requirements of the environment at the present time, taking into consideration long-term impacts. Following the completion of either one or other Study course, students dispose with knowledge and skills of use of ICT for solving very complex problems and are able to:
- continue their education in such or similar postgraduate doctoral or specialist studies in the country or abroad and to,
- without any difficulty, join the work of business organisations as full staff members, who are capable of dealing with high complexity tasks.
