Pristupačnost
The study of Informatics facilitates acquisition of a wide scope of informatics-related knowledge and skills, as well as the ability to apply them to problem areas in practice. For the needs of the study, compulsory courses have been defined, within which students familiarise themselves with the main topics from different areas of the informatics sciences, as well as the elective ones, which provide an opportunity to widen knowledge from the fields in which students show interest. By passing the compulsory courses, a basic groundwork of knowledge is acquired which, afterwards, can be upgraded by the elected courses which can help students in finding the specialisation area that they will pursue in the future, following graduation. Moreover, students also have at their disposal professional practice, i.e. the possibility to directly connect with their future employers. After the completion of the undergraduate study, students can choose between continuing their study of informatics at the University graduate level or the possibility to join the labour market, where their acquired competencies will enable them to fit in and become full members of modern organisations.

Enrolment terms: All those who have completed a four-year secondary school have the right to apply for enrolment in the University undergraduate study.
Duration of study: Three (3) years (180 ECTS points in total). The academic year consists of two semesters at 30 ECTS points each, which equals 60 ECTS points in total.
Academic title or degree gained by completion of the study: Bachelor’s degree in informatics (BSc in Informatics).

After the completion of the study course
Completion of the University undergraduate study is a prerequisite for the continuation of studying at the University graduate level. This represents a logical sequence by which the knowledge acquired at the University undergraduate study is widened.
By acquisition of knowledge and skills described in the Study outcomes of the University undergraduate study of Informatics, students are competent to join and take over medium complexity tasks in regular employers’ work in the labour market.
